# Cielo TransactionLinkId (TLID) required on Mastercard merchant-initiated transactions from October 23, 2026

From October 23, 2026, Payment.TransactionLinkId (TLID) is required on merchant-initiated transactions (MIT) linked to an original cardholder-initiated transaction (CIT), including recurring charges, future installments, card-on-file and post-authorized charges. Store the TLID returned in the CIT and send it in each subsequent MIT.

The deadline passed on Oct 23, 2026.
