# Expo Go on iOS requires login to run projects

The latest Expo Go for iOS, which supports SDK 57, requires being logged in to the same Expo account in both Expo CLI (npx expo login) and the Expo Go app to run a project in development mode. Expo says the requirement will extend to Android later; simulators and development builds are not affected.
