# Notion API notion-fetch no longer signs file URLs by default

notion-fetch in Notion MCP now cites files in page blocks as stable notion-file-block:// references instead of signed URLs; files in database properties are still signed inline. Get download URLs with the new notion-get-file-download-urls tool (up to 25 references) or pass include\_file\_urls: true to notion-fetch.
