# Notion API Notion MCP returns OpenAI's search and fetch shape to ChatGPT

For ChatGPT connections, search returns results with id, title, and url; fetch returns id, title, text, url, and metadata in both structuredContent and JSON text. Search results no longer include highlights, path, timestamps, or notices. With include\_file\_urls: true, fetch places file download URLs under metadata.references. User lookups and other clients are unchanged.
