On October 24, 2026 the Perplexity Agent API and Router API retire openai/gpt-5.4, openai/gpt-5.4-mini, openai/gpt-5.4-nano, openai/gpt-5.2, openai/gpt-5.1, openai/gpt-5 and openai/gpt-5-mini. After the cutoff these ids are no longer accepted or returned by the model-list endpoints. Perplexity names no specific replacement.
