# Perplexity API Agent API responses now report sandbox extraction usage and cost

Agent API responses now include token usage and cost for successful pplx\_sdk.llm.extract calls made inside the sandbox tool, in usage.tool\_calls\_details.sandbox and usage.cost.tool\_calls\_cost\_details.sandbox, and that cost now counts toward usage.cost.total\_cost. Pricing is unchanged and historical responses are not backfilled.
