# Sanity React App SDK keeps and retries edits when saving fails

In @sanity/sdk and @sanity/sdk-react v3.7.0, the document store no longer reverts local edits when a save fails with 401, 408, 429, 5xx, a 409 transaction conflict or a dropped connection; it resubmits them with exponential backoff. While a retry is pending, useDocumentSyncStatus returns false, and each failed attempt emits a submission-failed document event. Rejections such as 400, 403 or a revision conflict are still reverted.
