# Shopify Customer Address APIs now support countryCode

Customer Account API version 2026-10 adds countryCode (CountryCode enum, ISO 3166-1 alpha-2) to CustomerAddressInput and CustomerAddress and deprecates territoryCode, which keeps working with no removal version announced. Migrate to countryCode when adopting 2026-10; if both are sent, countryCode takes precedence.
