# Shopify Events subscription query complexity limit is changing to 100 points

Shopify is lowering the query complexity limit for Events subscriptions from 250 to 100 points; Classic Webhooks are not affected. Subscription queries above 100 points must be reshaped: split subscriptions by the work they do, query the changed resource directly, and use separate subscriptions when different query variables are needed.
