# Shopify Sidekick can now invoke app intents without tools

Sidekick now surfaces extensions that declare only intents (admin.app.intent.link or admin.app.intent.render) without tools. Apps with an intent-only extension and no extensions\_summary under \[sidekick\] in shopify.app.toml fail validation on their next shopify app deploy until one is added.
